Safety and Community Rules for the NearbYYou App
These rules are intended to reduce misuse, harassment and safety risks and to ensure respectful interaction within the NearbYYou app.
Respect and Safety
Treat other users with respect. Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, hate speech or sexual misconduct are not permitted.
Safety and respectful conduct take priority over reach, attention or initiating contact.
No Fake Profiles
You may not create false profiles or use third-party photos or identities.
Minimum Age
Use of the app is only permitted for persons aged 18 and over.
Prohibited Content and Conduct
In particular, illegal content, threats of violence, extortion, doxxing, non-consensual sexual communication, disclosure of intimate content without consent, grooming, exploitation of vulnerable persons and other safety violations are prohibited.
Meetings in the Real World
Meeting other users happens at your own responsibility. Meet first in public places, inform a trusted person, do not hand over money and do not share unnecessary sensitive information.

Consequences of Violations
In the event of violations, content may be removed and accounts may be temporarily or permanently restricted or suspended.
